Trajetórias educacionais e ocupacionais de trabalhadores do Sistema Único de Saúde, e suas expectativas profissionais / Educational and occupational trajectories of workers of the Unified Health System and their professional expectations

RESUMO Este artigo discute a relação entre as trajetórias educacionais e ocupacionais e as expectativas de trabalhadores do Sistema Único de Saúde no Brasil. É parte de uma pesquisa que recuperou essas trajetórias com base em entrevistas realizadas com trabalhadores técnicos de quatro grupos ocupacionais. A análise das entrevistas permitiu constatar que a inserção na área da saúde é vivenciada como menos errática quando comparada às trajetórias anteriores destes trabalhadores, especialmente para aqueles que experimentaram incertezas advindas de inserções instáveis e precárias. Entre os grupos estudados, os da enfermagem, sobretudo, são os que vêm construindo suas expectativas profissionais na mesma área de atuação.

ABSTRACT This article discusses the relationship between educational and occupational trajectories and the expectations of the Unified Health System workers in Brazil. It is part of a research that recovered these trajectories based on interviews with technical workers from four occupational groups. The analysis of the interviews found that the insertion in the health area is experienced as less erratic when compared to the previous trajectories of these workers, especially for those who experienced uncertainties arising from unstable and precarious insertions. Among the groups studied, those of nursing, mainly, are those who have been building their professional expectations in the same practice field.

[The contemporary relationship between work, qualification and recognition: repercussions on the Unified Health System (SUS) workers]. / Relação contemporânea entre trabalho, qualificação e reconhecimento: repercussões sobre os trabalhadores técnicos do SUS.

This paper discusses the relationship between work, qualification and recognition as it occurs in the field of health today, specifically considering the employability of technical workers in the Unified Health System, the way they perceive the employment relationship with respect to their self-esteem regarding their subjectivities. Based on a review of the relevant literature, the subject is treated in the wider context of ongoing changes in the workplace, which are associated with intensification, flexibility and precariousness of labor relations, with repercussions on the specific aspects mentioned. An attempt is made to establish a critical dialogue with the analytical aspect that emphasizes daily work as a privileged forum for overcoming the contradictions that characterize the field of work and education in the SUS nowadays. The text emphasizes the following issues: analysis of the relationship between work and education from the perspective of the concept of skill; the broadening of the meaning of health work; and a critical evaluation of policies that end up making the workers liable for the quality of services rendered.

Este artigo discute a relação entre trabalho, qualificação e reconhecimento tal como ocorre hoje no âmbito da saúde, considerando mais especificamente a inserção laboral dos trabalhadores técnicos no SUS, a maneira como percebem as relações de trabalho nas quais se inserem e a autoconstrução de suas subjetividades. Com base na revisão da literatura pertinente, o tema é tratado no contexto mais geral das mudanças em curso no mundo do trabalho, as quais estão associadas à intensificação, à flexibilização e à precarização das relações de trabalho, com rebatimentos nos aspectos específicos mencionados. Procura-se estabelecer um diálogo crítico com a vertente analítica que enfatiza o cotidiano de trabalho como instância privilegiada de superação das contradições que hoje caracterizam o campo do trabalho e da educação no SUS. O texto põe ênfase nas seguintes questões: na análise da relação trabalho-educação sob a ótica do conceito de qualificação; na ampliação do significado do trabalho em saúde; e na avaliação crítica de políticas que acabam por responsabilizar os trabalhadores pela qualidade do serviço prestado.
